As a graduate of Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu Nepal, I earned my master’s degree in sociology with a minor in physical science. I spent more than 10 years teaching before immigrating to the United States in 2004. I held several jobs in customer service before moving to Virginia from Kansas, joining the mortgage industry in 2019. I’ve found there are many similarities between teaching, customer services, and mortgage – all require nurturing students and customers, first. Education is key for homebuyers. My most important job as a mortgage banker is listening to the client’s needs and what they’re looking to accomplish. Whether you are buying your first home or refinancing an existing loan, I have the experience, service and expertise you need.
My interests include social work. I keep engaged in my community through the Nepali American Community center, the Model Nepali society-USA, NRNA, and School PTA, frequently volunteering my time. My goal is to promote Nepalese communities assimilating in the American communities while keeping our heritage from Nepal and making the whole community richer.
I am married with two children- one son and a daughter. I enjoy spending time with the family, helping my kids with their homework and traveling to new places.
